Urinary diseases are embarrassing. We have to metabolize every day, but men are under greater pressure, or sit in front of the computer for a long time, or have some special occupations. They cannot excrete in time and are prone to male urinary diseases. Long-term urinary diseases will also lead to systemic diseases. The following will introduce the causes of male urinary diseases. Only by finding the cause can we prescribe the right medicine. Phimosis: refers to the situation where the glans of the male genitals is completely covered by the foreskin; when the foreskin is too long and completely covers the glans, making it sticky and unable to be exposed, it is called phimosis. Generally, infants and young children have a relatively normal foreskin, which has the function of protecting the glans and urethra. However, after puberty, it is best for the foreskin to be retracted behind the coronal sulcus of the glans, which is beneficial for self-cleanliness and future sexual hygiene. If the foreskin is still abnormal after puberty, it is best to undergo circumcision surgery. As for infants and children, circumcision surgery is generally recommended only if there is repeated foreskin inflammation, or excessive phimosis causes difficulty in urination and urinary tract infection. Hernia and scrotal edema: Inguinal hernia, commonly known as "prolapse", has a male-to-female ratio of nine to one and is the most common disease in pediatric urology surgery. During the embryonic period, there is a "processus vaginalis" in the groin that can help the testicles descend into the scrotum or fix the ligamentum corpus uteri. After some children are born, this processus vaginalis is not completely closed, causing the small intestine, omentum, ovary, fallopian tube, etc. in the abdominal cavity to enter this processus vaginalis, which becomes a hernia; if only the peritoneal fluid enters the scrotum, it is scrotal edema. If it is only scrotal edema, it has a chance to heal on its own before the age of one. If scrotal edema still exists after the age of two, surgical treatment should be considered. As for inguinal hernia, it should be treated with surgery as soon as possible. The surgical method is to make a small incision in the groin and suture the processus vaginalis closed. Cryptorchidism: The male testicles are initially formed in the posterior abdominal cavity. In the third month of the embryonic period, they gradually descend from the posterior abdominal wall along with the testicular frenulum to the inguinal groove. In the seventh month of the embryonic period, they pass through the inguinal groove. After the ninth month of the fetus, they enter the scrotum. If the testicles stop halfway during the descent process or do not follow the original path and go outside the scrotum, there will be no testicles in the scrotum on that side, which is cryptorchidism. Generally speaking, premature babies are more likely to develop cryptorchidism. In the first year after birth, the testicles may still descend again, but it is less likely to do so after that. This type of undescended testicle is closely related to testicular cancer and infertility. It is generally recommended to undergo surgery at the age of two to fix the testicles in the scrotum. Hypospadias: It is a congenital defect. The development of the urethra and the differentiation of sex begin in the eighth week of embryonic development and are completed in the fifteenth week. The urethra of the penis is formed by the urethral folds and extends to the coronal sulcus at the far end of the penis. The urethra of the glans is formed into a tube on the glans and connected to the urethral folds. Incomplete connection will result in hypospadias, which will cause the child to be unable to urinate forward and the penis to bend, which will cause difficulty in urination and difficulty in sexual intercourse when the child grows up. The treatment method is surgery. Male friends with the above symptoms should pay special attention to them, as the above symptoms will lead to urinary diseases. Urinary diseases are very embarrassing and hard to talk about. So it is necessary to treat them as soon as possible, and the earlier the treatment, the earlier the recovery. Many people have been troubled by urinary diseases for a long time, and they have unbearable pain when defecating. In such serious cases, you need to go to the hospital for treatment in time. |
