What is the cause of the red dot on the glans?

Men's health is also an issue that needs attention. Nowadays, many men have contracted some sexually transmitted diseases because they do not pay enough attention to hygiene. A red spot on the glans may be caused by glanitis, which can be cured. Don't worry too much, but you must pay attention to cleanliness. Keeping yourself clean is a key to health.

Symptoms often indicate the presence of glansitis. The causes are often due to excessive foreskin, phimosis, masturbation, traumatic infection, unclean sexual intercourse, etc., which lead to the shedding of keratinized epithelium and glandular secretion, which creates good breeding conditions for other bacteria and causes inflammation. It can be caused by many factors, such as local physical factors (trauma, friction, contraceptives, detergents, urine, etc.), excessive foreskin, phimosis, smegma stimulation, various infections (bacteria, fungi, amoeba, trichomonas, etc.) and drug allergies.

1. Treatment of symptoms: Keep the area clean and avoid all kinds of stimulation. Patients with prepuce that is too long should undergo circumcision. 2. For local treatment, patients with erosion, exudation or purulent secretions can be treated with 1% ethacridine solution or 1:8000 potassium permanganate solution for wet compresses. For patients with dryness and scaling, glucocorticoid ointment can be applied externally. 3. Etiological treatment: Patients with clear etiology should be treated with corresponding drugs. For example, for candidal glansitis, topical nystatin cream, clotrimazole, econazole, miconazole cream, or oral antifungal drugs such as itraconazole, fluconazole, miconazole, and ketoconazole can be used. For trichomonal glansitis, metronidazole, tinidazole, and trichostatin can be used. For amebic glansitis, emetine, metronidazole, and tinidazole are given. If both spouses suffer from candidal vaginitis or trichomonal vaginitis, they must be treated at the same time.

Penitis is not a serious disease, but you still need to go to the hospital for treatment in time and take medicine according to the doctor's instructions. In daily life, you must pay attention to your own cleanliness and try to eat light food. Don't eat too spicy food, which will make the condition worse. If you want a healthy body, you must take good care of yourself.
