At the same time, estrogen metabolism also begins and gradually increases. Estrogen can promote the accelerated perfection of the epiphyseal plate, causing the epiphyseal line to close faster, until it closes completely and the child no longer grows. This change occurs after the voice change or the first frequent ejaculation.

Therefore, when a boy's voice changes, it means that his height has just begun to enter the countdown to stop growing. He will grow at most 5-7.5cm, and some children may even only grow 1-2cm.
