Circumcision surgery preparation

1. Before and on the day of surgery, ask the patient to clean the parts. Clean the sexual organs: Starting from 3 days before surgery, the sexual organs should be washed with warm water or 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution every day. When cleaning, the prepuce should be rotated to expose the coronal sulcus and completely remove urine scale. However, it should be noted that the prepuce should be reset immediately after cleaning to prevent the prepuce from being incarcerated.

2. Patients with high-complication of prepuce hyperplasia and glans penis inflammation need to be treated with medication and local immersion, and then undergo surgical treatment again after the inflammation disappears.

3. Eliminate anxiety and uneasiness: Because the wound will feel a little uncomfortable in the first few days after the operation, some people worry that the operation will affect the male sexual function. This idea is unnecessary. Generally speaking, circumcision will not affect the normal male sexual function. On the contrary, if you have a mental burden, it may cause erectile dysfunction.

Circumcision surgery anesthesia

Circumcision surgery treatment process

1. Lie flat on your back.

2. Cleaning, disinfection and sterilization: Clean the part with soap solution and saline water, and disinfect it with 1:1000 Germicide solution; for those with prepuce that is too long, connect the syringe to the vein, cut the needle tube and introduce Germicide solution into the surface and inside of the prepuce for disinfection.

⑴ Use hemostatic forceps to clamp the prepuce between the bones. ⑵ Use a grooved probe to remove the prepuce adhesion.

3. Separate the adhesions. For those with narrow foreskin opening and long foreskin and glans penis, first use hemostats to expand the foreskin opening, then use two hemostats to clamp the middle of the interosseous edge (the distance between the two clamps is 0.2cm). Use a slotted probe to separate the adhesions until the glans penis and the long foreskin are completely separated. Then use disinfectant saline to clean the surface of the foreskin and the glans penis.

4. Design the incision: Use a hemostatic forceps to pinch the frenulum of the foreskin to lift the foreskin. Use a sharp knife to make a cut 0.5 cm away from the edge of the coronal groove on the outer side of the foreskin to prepare for the circumcision wound. Avoid removing too much.

6. Remove the foreskin.
