Is it better for men to have thick or thin sperm?

The quality of semen is particularly important for men's future childbearing. It is also a major sign of whether there are problems with a man's body. If there are problems with the quality of a man's semen, it is very likely that he has developed some urinary system symptoms. When men are anxious to have children and find out that the semen quality is poor and the sperm is too thin, they will inevitably become anxious and easily angry. No matter how anxious they are, they still have to find out the cause of the problem. The key is to eliminate the problem from all aspects.

Before ejaculation, semen is stored in the body in a liquid state. After ejaculation, under the action of a protein-like substance in the metabolism of the seminal vesicle, it will immediately turn into a milky white or slightly yellowish transparent gelatinous state. This is the semen characteristic that we usually see. At this time, the male sperm is "condensed" in the semen and cannot move freely. After 5 to 30 minutes, under the participation of a hydrolase in the metabolism of the male prostate, the semen begins to vaporize, and slowly changes from a gelatinous state to a more dilute water sample.

What causes thin semen?

1. Reproductive system infection: Chronic infection of the prostate gland can affect various test indicators in semen and may cause oligospermia.

2. Endocrine abnormalities: Normal spermatogenesis in men depends on the normal function of the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal axis. Any obstruction at one stage will affect spermatogenesis. Other diseases such as thyroid cysts and adrenal diseases will also affect the position and function of the prostate and lead to oligospermia.

3. Excessive scrotal temperature: Radioactive damage, organic chemical methamphetamine and drug effects can all lead to oligospermia.

4. Varicose veins: Varicose veins can increase the temperature of the testicles and increase the vasoactive substances, which in turn affects the spermatogenesis of the testicles. However, the level of varicose veins is inversely proportional to the quality of sperm.
