Men can't ejaculate when wearing a condom

Men can't ejaculate when wearing a condom

For lovers who are not yet ready to get pregnant, they need to wear condoms during sexual intercourse to achieve the effect of contraception. In addition, wearing condoms can also prevent the spread of diseases. It is a kind of protection for both male and female bodies and is a necessary measure for sexual intercourse. However, many men have difficulty ejaculating after wearing condoms. What is going on?

There are several reasons why you may not be able to ejaculate normally after wearing a condom:

1. The sensitive parts of the normal male penis are the glans penis and frenulum, while condoms may reduce the sensitivity of the glans penis and frenulum;

2. After putting on a condom, the psychological focus during sex is diverted, and there is a fear that the condom will fall off or be damaged, etc. These psychological factors are also the reason for not being able to ejaculate;

3. Problems with the material of the condom, such as poor lubricity or excessive thickness, can lead to sexual intercourse failing to reach the point of excitement.

The pros and cons of wearing condoms

Studies have shown that women who frequently use condoms, regardless of the brand, are more likely to suffer from vaginitis and cervicitis, which is an objective problem. Compared with other contraceptive methods such as taking birth control pills, women are more likely to develop gynecological inflammation after using condoms.

Although condoms can isolate bacteria when used frequently, a lot of oil is usually added to the outside of condoms to achieve a lubricating effect. These mineral oils are not easy to decompose. They are not easy to clean inside the vagina. Some ingredients in these lubricants can damage the immune system in the vagina. If used twice a week, the amount of mineral oil residue is considerable. If condoms are worn frequently, these oils will exist in the vagina for a long time, destroying the acidic environment in the vagina and making it easier for bacteria to grow.

Under normal circumstances, there are some aerobic and anaerobic bacteria in the vagina. It forms a balance and naturally forms a defense mechanism, including self-purification. In the case where condoms are not universally used, vaginal secretions will discharge many pathogenic bacteria. However, when condoms are used frequently, these oils on the condoms are difficult to discharge, so it is difficult to discharge some harmful bacteria, which increases gynecological inflammation in women who use condoms.

In addition, during sexual intercourse, the condom constantly hits and rubs the cervical opening, which will inevitably cause damage to the cervical opening. Human mucosa has the ability to repair itself, but this takes time. When condoms are used frequently, it is not easy to repair cervical lesions. Especially after a few days, it is injured again, coupled with the changes in the acidic environment of the vagina, bacteria breed, leading to cervical erosion.

Precautions for using condoms

1. Check the production date and expiration date before use. Expired condoms have deteriorated and are easy to break, so they should not be used.

2. Condoms must be stored in a cool, dry environment and not exposed to acids, alkalis, or oils. If they become sticky or brittle after being exposed to the above conditions, they should not be used even within the shelf life.

3. Condoms come in different specifications. You should choose the appropriate model according to the size of the penis when erect. Otherwise, it will be easy to break if it is too tight, and easy to slip off if it is too loose, which will affect the effect of use.

4. The condom should not be unfolded in advance, but should be unfolded from the glans part downwards on the erect penis.

5. Before putting on the glans penis, you should squeeze the small air bag at the top of the condom to store semen, so as to prevent the air in the air bag from expanding when heated, causing the semen to overflow to the base of the penis during ejaculation.

6. Only water-based lubricants can be used with condoms. Vaseline, liquid wax, facial oil, cooking oil, etc. can increase the brittleness of condoms in a short period of time and accelerate their rupture.

7. If a condom is found to have a hole or slips off during use, it is still unsafe to just replace the condom. You should stop sexual intercourse immediately and use disinfectant to clean the genitals.
