What medicine to take for spermatic cord inflammation

Men should pay attention to their reproductive health, avoid bad sexual habits, and seek timely treatment when inflammation occurs to avoid more complications. Varicitis is mostly acute, with pain when it occurs, and is often accompanied by epididymitis. So what medicine should be taken for varicocele inflammation? Of course, you should take some anti-inflammatory drugs. And you should go to the hospital for examination in time to confirm that there are no other diseases.

1. Treatment and health care of varicocele

1. Systemic antibiotics.

2. Use a scrotal support to lift the scrotum and apply warm compress and physical therapy.

3. For chronic varicocelectomy caused by vasectomy, 12.5 mg of hydrocortisone acetate, 80,000 units of gentamicin, plus 3-5 ml of 1% procaine (add 5 mg of chymotrypsin if necessary) can be used for local injection once a week. Generally, it will be effective after 3-5 injections.

4. Avoid sexual stimulation and abstain from sexual intercourse to reduce excessive congestion and local damage to the reproductive organs.

5. Avoid spicy, fried or other hot foods during treatment.

2. Causes of Varicortitis

The vast majority of cases of spermatic cord inflammation are acute, and the pathogens are often common bacteria or tuberculosis, and most of them are accompanied by diseases such as epididymitis. In addition, there are also pathogenic pathogens such as filarial worms and Treponema pallidum. Most of these pathogens invade the spermatic cord through the lymphatic vessels, causing inflammation of the spermatic cord tissue, and sometimes pathological changes such as abscess, necrosis, and granuloma can be formed.

3. Symptoms and signs of varicocele

The onset is relatively acute, with obvious local pain, which can radiate along the spermatic cord to the groin, and even reach the upper pubic area or lower abdomen. Important signs include redness and swelling of the surface skin, thickening of the spermatic cord in a spun-hammer or cord-like manner, obvious tenderness, and unclear vas deferens. If abscesses are formed, there may be a sense of fluctuation. The spermatic cord starts from the groin, runs obliquely inward and downward, passes through the scrotum, and ends at the posterior edge of the testicle. It is a soft round cord that suspends the testicle and epididymis. After getting spermatic corditis, inflammation can cause thickening and swelling of the spermatic cord. When it adheres to the surrounding tissues, scrotal swelling pain, lower abdominal pain, and perineal pulling pain may occur. If the infection is severe, there may also be systemic reactions such as fever and headache.
