Why is the man's glans black?

There are many reasons for the blackening of the male glans, such as long-term and repeated congestion, which may lead to melanin deposition. Of course, it may also be related to diseases. The most common one is balanoposthitis. Because of infection, long-term chronic stimulation can easily lead to such manifestations. Therefore, if balanoposthitis occurs, it should be treated in time, and it should be cleaned in time every day, and underwear should be changed every day.

Why is the man's glans black?

The blackening of the male glans is related to the long-term erection of the male penis. When the penis is erect, the glans will be in a state of congestion. If this continues for a long time, it will cause the glans to turn black. In addition to long-term erection, balanitis can also cause the glans to turn black, mainly due to bacterial infection of the glans and long-term inflammatory stimulation. At the same time, the blackening of the male glans may also be caused by the use of drugs, which cause the glans to turn black due to long-term stimulation of the drugs. In this case, you should go to a regular professional urology hospital for active treatment.

There are several symptoms of balanitis:

1. Acute superficial balanoposthitis: At the onset, there is local flushing, redness and swelling of the penis skin, and a burning and itching sensation in the glans. When the foreskin is turned back, the inner surface of the foreskin and the glans can be seen to be congested and eroded, with exudate and even bleeding. After secondary infection, small ulcers can be seen, with foul-smelling milky white purulent secretions. If it rubs against underwear, it will be painful, and the patient often has difficulty in moving.

2. Annular ulcerated balanitis: Erythema can be seen on the glans and foreskin, which gradually expands and becomes ring-shaped, and may form superficial ulcers.

3. Plasmocytic glansitis: It is more common in middle-aged people. It is a chronic inflammation of single or multiple lesions that lasts for a long time. The damage is plaque-like, with a smooth or scaly or moist surface, and the infiltration is more obvious. The boundary is clear and not easy to break. Small spots like chili powder can be seen on the surface. The appearance is difficult to distinguish from the proliferative erythema of the glans. If similar damage occurs in the vulva, it is called plasmacytic vulvitis.

4. Mica-like and keratotic pseudoepitheliomatous balanitis: The glans penis is damaged, infiltrated and hypertrophic, with excessive keratinization and mica-like crusts. The affected area loses its normal elasticity and atrophies over time.
