What are the symptoms of sperm deficiency?

Azoospermia, also known as oligospermia, is one of the common diseases in men's medicine. It also refers to abnormal semen secretion. Therefore, men often cannot ejaculate sperm or the amount of sperm is relatively small, which leads to insufficient sperm activity and inability to maintain normal conception, resulting in infertility problems. In fact, there will be no symptoms after the occurrence of azoospermia, and all require examination for diagnosis.

Oligospermia patients need to pay attention to the following aspects of diet:

1. Calcium plays an important role in sperm energy, movement, maintaining the activity of hyaluronidase and the fertilization process. If the body is calcium deficient, sperm movement will be slow and the activity of sperm acrosome protease will be reduced. Therefore, men should also pay attention to eating more calcium-rich foods, such as milk, soy products, fresh fish, mushrooms, day lily, mustard greens, sweet almonds, coriander, pork rib soup, shrimp skin, seaweed, wakame, kelp, raisins, etc.

2. Eat foods containing magnesium. Magnesium helps regulate human heart activity, prevent heart disease, lower blood pressure, and improve male fertility.

3. The average sperm concentration in the semen of smokers is 25 million/ml, which is significantly lower than the 63 million/ml concentration of non-smokers. The sperm motility is also significantly reduced. Alcohol directly acts on the sex glands, which reduces the production rate of testosterone and causes an increase in estrogen, which not only leads to impotence, but also affects sperm production.

4. Drink less cola. The caffeine and other ingredients in cola can kill sperm.

5. Eat less celery, cottonseed oil, bananas, etc.

6. Arginine is the main component of sperm and has the ability to improve sperm activity. Foods rich in arginine include soybeans and their products, yam, sea cucumber, cuttlefish, ginkgo, watermelon, octopus, pumpkin, etc.
