Varicose vein symptoms

Varicose vein symptoms

In fact, many men will find varicose veins in their genitals in middle age. Varicose veins are indeed a very common men's disease, which may usually affect reproductive function, and may also cause the patient's emotional abnormalities, physical fatigue, and insomnia. Varicose veins are more harmful because they will slowly cause the reproductive system to no longer be normal.

According to experts from the Chinese Medicine Hospital, if patients with varicocele are not treated for a long time, they will suffer from testicular atrophy and spermatogenesis disorders, which will eventually lead to male infertility. Varicose vein patients may also be caused by kidney tumors or other retroperitoneal tumors. Specifically, the hazards of varicocele are mainly the following:

1. Varicose veins can cause local discomfort in the scrotum, such as swelling and pulling pain, which is more obvious when standing and moving, and can be relieved when lying on your back.

Second, it can also cause abnormal mood, fatigue, insomnia, etc., but the vast majority of patients do not have any symptoms. These are the dangers of varicocele. After the disease occurs, it is not felt by the patient, and quietly affects the function of the male reproductive system organs.

3. Varicose veins have an incidence rate of 10-15% in the male population and account for 15-20% of male infertility. Varicose veins can be accompanied by testicular atrophy and sperm production disorders, thus causing male infertility. This is also the biggest harm of varicocele. There are two main factors that cause infertility due to varicocele:

1. Stagnation of venous blood affects testicular metabolism, causing local hypoxia, metabolic waste accumulation, poisoning testicular spermatogenic cells and sperm, and inhibiting the production of male hormone - testosterone. The combined consequences of these two factors reduce the number of sperm in patients, reduce their motility, and increase abnormal sperm, thus leading to infertility.

2. The stasis of venous blood causes the temperature of the testicles to rise. We know that the occurrence and growth of human sperm requires a temperature below 37°C, which is why human testicles grow outside the body cavity. Varicose veins can increase the temperature of the testicles by an average of about 0.6°C, thus interfering with spermatogenesis.

The above is a brief introduction to the dangers of varicose veins of the vagina. From the introduction, we can see that this disease must not be delayed, but please remember to go to a regular andrology hospital for treatment.
