Erectile dysfunction in men

Erectile dysfunction in men

Male erectile dysfunction is what we usually call impotence, which mainly refers to the inability of men to have a normal erection due to psychological reasons or disease reasons. Without a normal erection of the penis, there is no way to have sexual intercourse and no way to insert smoothly. This has a greater impact on the relationship between husband and wife, and will also cause certain psychological problems in men. Let's take a look at this aspect.

Erectile dysfunction in men

Erectile dysfunction is a common phenomenon of male sexual dysfunction. Many men think that they are impotent if they cannot have a normal erection. In fact, this is not the case. Correctly understanding erectile dysfunction can avoid misunderstandings.

Erectile dysfunction, also known as impotence, abbreviated as ED, is a common male sexual dysfunction disease. Many men think they are impotent when they are unable to have an erection occasionally. In fact, there are many aspects to self-judgment of impotence. Don't think you have impotence just because you can't have an erection a few times, which adds a great psychological burden to yourself.

Don't assume that masturbation will necessarily cause erectile dysfunction.

It is more common among unmarried young people and is a common misconception. Needless to say, masturbation is a common behavior among teenagers. Some people do worry that masturbation will induce erectile dysfunction, and some people have indeed developed erectile dysfunction afterwards. However, modern medicine has made it clear that the occurrence of this kind of impotence is not essentially due to masturbation damaging the sexual organs, but rather it is precisely the mental and psychological factors caused by long-term masturbation. In fact, the psychological activities of masturbators are very complicated, and they are often in a state of anxiety, guilt, depression, and uneasiness. This unhealthy thinking activity will hinder the normal functioning of sexual function. However, even if a person is a long-term masturbator, as long as the above-mentioned mental "lumps" can be resolved, erectile dysfunction may not occur.

Frequent ejaculation does not necessarily lead to erectile dysfunction.

This is another common misconception among teenagers. They think that frequent spermatorrhea will seriously damage their "vitality", and sexual function will be lost. In fact, this concern is completely unnecessary. It is normal for a healthy unmarried man to ejaculate 1-2 times a month. More than 4-5 times is a bit too much. This may be related to inflammation of the reproductive and urinary organs or certain lifestyle factors, such as wearing tight pants, sleeping in a hot area at night, and being overworked during the day. However, modern medicine has made it clear that there is no necessary connection between spermatorrhea and erectile dysfunction.

Do not assume that erectile dysfunction after changing your sexual partner means you have impotence.

Strictly speaking, this view is also incorrect. Some people have normal sex life with their wives and good erectile function, but they have poor erectile function when they have an affair. On the contrary, some people have poor erectile function when they have sex with their wives, perhaps because of lack of novelty, but they have excellent erectile function when they have an affair. These are all situations that occur after the sexual intercourse partner changes. At first glance, poor erectile function when having sex with a certain partner is indeed a kind of erectile dysfunction. In medicine, there are also so-called "affair impotence" and "marital impotence". But in the true sense, people with this kind of "selective" erectile dysfunction are not real erectile dysfunction patients. From one perspective, he has erectile dysfunction, and from another perspective, his sexual function is good. It can be seen that we cannot casually label this kind of person as having erectile dysfunction. Of course, it is crucial to correct one's behavior, adjust one's mentality, and ensure that the sexual life in marriage is normal.
