Small papules on both sides of the frenulum

Male reproductive problems are usually related to chronic inflammation of the foreskin, excessive length of the foreskin, etc. It is generally believed that this situation is related to various reasons such as sebaceous gland hyperplasia or physiological deformation. From a health perspective, no matter what the cause of the white particles in the male foreskin, it should be taken seriously and it is best to go to the hospital for examination. The following introduces the problems related to the small papules on both sides of the frenulum of the foreskin.

1 The pathogen of genital warts is human papillomavirus (HPV). There are many subtypes of HPV, and different subtypes infect different parts of the body and cause different harm to people. In addition, HPV affects men and women differently. HPV infection in men manifests as hyperplastic changes (hairy thorns) in the skin of the genital area (glans penis, coronal sulcus and urethral opening), which resembles a "cock's comb" and generally has no serious consequences. HPV infection in women may lead to cervical cancer. Unlike urethritis, many patients with genital warts do not have a clear history of unclean sexual intercourse.

2 Genital herpes is a viral infection caused by the herpes simplex virus type II. The virus enters the human body through damaged skin and lurks in the nerve roots of the spinal cord, causing "trouble" when the body's resistance is reduced (fatigue, cold, etc.). The main manifestation of genital herpes is the appearance of small blisters in the genital area, accompanied by pain. After the blisters burst, small red erosions are formed. This disease is often self-limited and will generally heal in about 1 week regardless of treatment. However, the virus is not easy to completely eliminate and is prone to recurrence.

3 The pathogen of chancre is Treponema pallidum, and the incubation period of the disease is about 2 weeks. The main manifestation of chancre is a single ulcer in the genitals (most commonly in the coronal sulcus of the penis) with a hard base. At the same time, there may be enlarged lymph nodes in the groin (thigh root).

4 Pubic lice is a parasitic infection that lives at the base of pubic hair. The main symptoms are itching in the pubic area, tiny lice at the base of pubic hair, and pinpoint blood spots on underwear.

5 When identifying the above-mentioned STDs, they should be distinguished from physiological abnormalities such as pearly rash in the coronal sulcus of the penis, small papules on both sides of the frenulum of the foreskin, and flaky sebaceous gland dysplasia in the penile skin.
