What is testicular vaginal reversal surgery?

Testicular vaginal reversal is a method of treating hydrocele in the male body. It is a minimally invasive treatment method that fundamentally eliminates the disease, achieves the discharge of hydrocele, improves the function of the genitals, and achieves the purpose of treating the disease at the same time. Testicular vaginal reversal has relatively small side effects on the body and will not have any impact on the testicles or genitals.

What is testicular vaginal reversal surgery?

The tunica vaginalis reversal surgery is targeted at the symptoms and characteristics of hydrocele. It uses minimally invasive technology to treat general primary or secondary hydrocele of the testis. On the basis of eliminating the cause, it can eliminate the effusion, improve the function, eliminate the infection, and cure the original disease. The entire surgical process is performed under visual conditions, without damaging the patient's testicles and urogenital function. It is safe and painless, with rapid recovery and a very high cure rate.

Treatment Principle

The medical treatment of hydrocele is determined based on the patient's age, the amount of fluid and the cause of the disease.

Traditional treatment methods mainly include drug treatment, waiting treatment, puncture and fluid extraction treatment and traditional surgical treatment. These traditional treatment methods for hydrocele have many disadvantages and are prone to infection, leading to repeated attacks. After long-term clinical practice in China, it has been proven that it can achieve the effect of removing fluid, improving function, eliminating infection, and curing the original disease. It is the best choice for many patients with hydrocele.

The vaginal turnover surgery targets the symptoms and characteristics of hydrocele and uses minimally invasive technology to treat general primary or secondary testicular hydrocele. On the basis of eliminating the cause, it can eliminate the hydrocele, improve the function, eliminate the infection, and cure the original disease. The entire surgical process is performed under visual conditions, without damaging the patient's testicles and urogenital function. It is safe and painless, with rapid recovery and a very high cure rate. Tens of thousands of successful clinical cases have witnessed the superiority of this cross-era minimally invasive surgical method.

Surgical procedures

Lie flat. Make a longitudinal incision on the anterior scrotal wall. Its length depends on the size of the hydrocele. Cut the skin and the fascia carnosus. Cut the levator fascia and levator testis muscle to reach the sac. Separate and free the sac between the levator fascia and the sac wall, the latter is transparent. Squeeze the sac out of the scrotal incision: cut the tunica vaginalis and suck out the sac fluid. Use scissors to expand the incision upward and downward. We can see here that traditional hydrocele surgery is very labor intensive. In terms of suturing, if the sac of the vagina is not too large, the vagina can be turned over to the back of the testicle and intermittent sutures can be made with fine silk thread. If the sac of the vagina is larger, the excess vagina can be cut off and there is no need to turn it over again. The bleeding points on the edge of the vagina should be carefully ligated to stop bleeding, or intestinal thread can be used for continuous sutures to stop bleeding.

Surgical effect

The vaginal herniation surgery is less damaging and has a quick recovery. The biggest advantage is that it can simultaneously detect whether there is a potential processus vaginalis that is not closed on the opposite side, and can be treated at the same time. Endotracheal intubation has no side effects on patients and can ensure that the airway is unobstructed during surgery. It is very safe. Compared with puncture and fluid extraction, laparoscopic vaginal herniation surgery has the advantages of being thorough and non-recurring. Hemostasis during surgery must be thorough to prevent postoperative hematoma.

Postoperative precautions

1. Clinical examinations include routine blood and urine tests and coagulation function tests.

2. Chest X-ray to understand the condition of the heart and lungs and rule out lung infection.

3. No food or water: No food or water for 8 hours and 4 hours before surgery.

4. Preoperative medication: Sedatives are routinely used to achieve the purpose of sedation and reduce saliva and respiratory secretions.

5. After the operation, the patient will be sent to the anesthesia recovery room. After the patient wakes up, he will be sent back to the ward. The patient will not get out of bed or eat semi-liquid food on the same day. The patient can get out of bed and resume normal diet the next day.
