Male Physiology

Is it a problem if there are bubbles when you pee? Think about the experience of pouring beer. If you hold the bottle high so that there is a greater drop between the bottle and the glass, the beer will have a greater impact when it falls, and more bubbles will be produced. On the contrary, if you hold the bottle and the glass at the same height and pour the beer slowly, fewer bubbles will be produced. Therefore, the amount of bubbles produced is related to the amount of impact.

However, if we use water instead of wine and repeat the experiment, there will not be such a big difference. This is because the amount of bubbles produced is related to the concentration. The greater the concentration, the easier it is to produce bubbles, and the longer the bubbles exist, which is related to surface tension.

Normal urine contains various nitrogenous substances and minerals, and its concentration varies with the amount of water a person drinks. Therefore, it is easier for boys to have bubbles when they urinate while standing (think of a wine bottle held high); people who drink less water have higher urine concentrations and are more likely to have bubbles; the first urine in the morning is also more likely to have bubbles. Therefore, bubbles in urine can be a normal male physiology .

However, some physical conditions can increase the concentration of urine and the number of bubbles in urine. For example, when there is a problem with kidney function, urine protein increases; when there is a biliary disease or hemolytic disease, the bilirubin in urine increases; when diabetes is not well controlled, the urine sugar increases; when there is a urinary tract infection, the white blood cells in urine increase; these may increase the concentration of urine, there will be more bubbles, and the bubbles will exist for a longer time.

However, even in these cases, women are less likely to notice bubbles because they sit or squat while urinating.

Therefore, it is unreasonable to determine or worry about whether you have any problems based on whether there are bubbles in your urine! However, if you drink enough water and there are still a lot of bubbles in your urine, and these bubbles exist for a long time, especially when there are other physical abnormalities, you should consult a doctor!
