What are the causes of low back pain in men?

Men are most susceptible to disease problems caused by external stress in life. These diseases can bring great troubles to men's lives and cause great pain to the body. Among them, low back pain is the most common symptom among men, which can bring a lot of inconvenience to men's lives. Therefore, timely diagnosis and treatment are needed. What are the causes of low back pain in men?

Long-term waist pain in men is likely caused by prostatitis. Prostatitis is the most common disease among adult men, accounting for about 1/3-1/2 of outpatients in TCM andrology. Clinically, it is divided into acute prostatitis and chronic prostatitis, of which chronic prostatitis is the most common. This disease can occur in adult men of any age. It rarely occurs before puberty, but it is more common in men aged 20-40. About 35%-40% of those over 35 years old suffer from this disease.

Acute prostatitis may cause systemic symptoms such as lower abdominal distension and pain, chills, fever, fatigue, etc. in men. Local symptoms include a feeling of heaviness in the perineum or suprapubic area, which worsens when sitting for a long time or defecating, and radiates to the waist, lower abdomen, back and thighs. If small abscesses are formed, the pain worsens and defecation becomes impossible. Urethral symptoms include a burning sensation during urination, urgency and frequency of urination, which may be accompanied by hematuria at the end of urination or purulent discharge from the urethra.

Other causes of low back pain in men:

1) Urethritis and ureteral stones can also cause lumbar bloating and pain, which is accompanied by lumbar paraspinal pain or lumbar soreness, paroxysmal colic and submicroscopic hematuria, and ureteral caliber pain.

2) Varicose vein varicocele, waist distension and pain, more obvious when sitting, pain radiates to the perineum, and may be accompanied by testicular pain. The veins in the spermatic cord are blocked from returning blood due to some reason, causing blood stasis, causing the venous plexus in the spermatic cord to be tortuous, elongated and dilated, forming an earthworm-like mass in the scrotum, which is varicocele.

Warm reminder: male friends, don't ignore the waist. Its pain is likely to be a signal to you that there is a certain disease in the body, such as prostatitis, ureteritis, etc. When men often feel waist pain, they should go to the hospital for medical treatment in time to find out the cause to avoid the occurrence of men's diseases.
