What are the symptoms of male genital herpes?

If a male friend develops genital herpes, he or she must be isolated and treated in time, because genital herpes is contagious. Generally, when a male friend develops genital herpes, the skin will have obvious papules, which will then slowly develop into blisters, and then turn into pus and erosion, so timely treatment is needed.

Clinical manifestations

(1) Characteristics of skin damage:

The local skin and mucous membranes experience a burning sensation, followed by the formation of clustered papules, which then develop into blisters, one or more clusters, which may develop into pus bursting to form erosions and shallow ulcers, and finally scab over and heal on their own.

(2) Predisposing sites:

Foreskin, glans penis, coronal sulcus, penis or occasionally the male urethra. Occasionally, it occurs in the anus and rectum.

(3) Incubation period: 2-10 days

The average duration is 6 days, and the course of the disease is about 2-3 weeks. It often relapses. The symptoms are milder than the primary period, and the damage is less. There are often no primary symptoms of general discomfort, low fever, headache, and swollen lymph nodes, and the perceived pain is milder than the primary period.

It occurs in the lower rectal mucosa with congestion, bleeding, and small ulcers.
