What are the side effects of breast augmentation surgery?

The size of breasts is a matter of great concern to many women. In addition to personal factors, some people enlarge their breasts through surgery. There are many ways to enlarge breasts, and surgery is the fastest way to achieve results. Although breast augmentation surgery is quick and has obvious effects, there are many things to be aware of. If the nursing is not in place, the side effects of breast augmentation surgery are also very serious. So what are the side effects of breast augmentation surgery?

1. Infection:

Redness, swelling, heat and pain are the main symptoms, which may occur shortly after breast augmentation surgery or at any time after surgery. If there are no systemic symptoms, subacute or chronic infection is difficult to diagnose. If the symptoms do not subside after proper treatment, it is recommended to remove the artificial breast in time.

2. Asymmetry or droop:

Asymmetry is caused by the following reasons: incorrect implant shape and size, capsule contraction, hematoma, implant rupture, chest asymmetry, and breast tissue asymmetry. In addition, breasts after breast augmentation surgery will sag over time just like natural breasts.

3. Abnormal sensation in the nipple and breast : This is a common side effect of breast augmentation surgery. Breast augmentation with areola incision may cause temporary or permanent numbness or hypersensitivity in the nipple or areola area.

4. Rupture of artificial breast: Artificial breasts cannot last a lifetime. Ruptured artificial breasts usually need to be removed and replaced, which is also a common side effect of breast augmentation surgery. However, hidden rupture of artificial breasts usually has no symptoms. The causes of rupture include damage to surgical instruments, intraoperative or postoperative trauma, excessive squeezing, excessive exercise, close contact with the body, and aging of materials over time. Therefore, it is best to have regular physical examinations to detect problems early.
