This is the iliac crest in anatomy, which is exactly level with the 4th lumbar spinous process of the human body. Then, measure a distance of a palm and a little more from the midline, which is the location of the Yaoyan point.

Generally speaking, when massaging the waist point, sit upright, make fists with both hands naturally behind your back, press the waist point tightly with the raised fist hole of the index finger and press and rub it vigorously in a circular motion until it feels sore and swollen.
