White urine is a white secretion in the urine. This secretion is invisible to the naked eye, but can be found through examination. White urine may be caused by prostatitis or seminal vesiculitis. What causes white urine? After defecation or urination, the milky white liquid discharged from the urethra is mostly prostatic fluid, a small amount may contain seminal vesicle fluid, and no sperm. The prostate and seminal vesicles are both part of the male reproductive system, located in front of the rectum and under the bladder. The prostatic fluid and seminal vesicle fluid they secrete are components of semen. The prostate gland and seminal vesicles have strong secretory functions and can produce several milliliters of fluid every day. The main component of fluid is water, with very few nutrients. If ejaculation does not occur, prostatic fluid will be discharged with urine, or it may be discharged due to stool squeezing the prostate gland. Generally speaking, white urine is more likely to occur in the morning. Differential diagnosis of white urine Urethral white discharge refers to a small amount of milky white viscous liquid flowing out of the urethra after urination or defecation. In fact, this liquid is the prostatic fluid secreted by the prostate, also known as prostatic discharge. This is caused by the contraction of the relevant muscles at the bottom of the pelvis compressing the gland during urination or defecation. Since the force is not too strong during normal defecation, this white discharge phenomenon is not obvious, but when the stool is constipated and the prostate gland is pressed, white discharge occurs. Some people think that this is "spermia" and "weak sperm gate", and that the kidney is weak. In fact, this is not spermatorrhea, but the liquid discharged from the prostate. So how do you differentiate between spermatorrhea and white discharge? 1. Different ways of discharge: Leucorrhea is often discharged unconsciously before or after urination or defecation; spermatorrhea usually requires ejaculation. 2. The amount of discharge is different: the amount of semen discharged is generally more than 2ml, with an average of 3-5ml; the amount of white droplets can be more or less, and is relatively turbid. 3. The properties are different. When semen is just ejaculated, it is grayish white and thick and jelly-like. It begins to liquefy and become a thin and transparent liquid after about 10 minutes. The ejaculated semen is a white turbid liquid without any liquefaction changes. 4. The main accompanying symptoms are different: Spermia usually occurs without dysuria; vaginal discharge is often accompanied by dysuria and bladder irritation. |
