How to effectively treat prostate calcification

Prostate calcification must be treated scientifically. After all, these prostate diseases are detrimental to men's reproductive health. For some static and symptom-free patients, it is important to observe the size of the calcified stones and use antibiotics correctly.

1. For most small and numerous prostate stones that are accidentally discovered during routine X-ray examinations, as long as they are static and symptom-free, they usually do not require treatment. 2. For stones with symptoms but not serious infection, prostate massage and antibiotics can be used to control symptoms, and regular X-ray examinations should be performed to observe changes in stone size.

5. When the stones are large and numerous, transperineal prostatectomy and lithotripsy are sometimes required. Simply performing prostatectomy and lithotripsy will often cause stones to re-form in the prostate cavity.

6. When prostate stones are accompanied by chronic prostatitis and seminal vesiculitis, symptomatic treatment is the main approach. Hot water sitz baths, antibiotics and urinary antiseptics can be used to relieve symptoms of posterior urethral irritation.

Antibiotic treatment

This is the basic and commonly used method for the treatment of prostate calcification. The use of antibiotics to treat acute prostatitis is still desirable for controlling clinical symptoms. However, the treatment of chronic prostatitis is less satisfactory. First, the drug resistance of bacteria, pathogens, and microorganisms is an obstacle that antibiotics cannot overcome. Secondly, it is difficult for drugs to achieve effective treatment in the alveoli and it is difficult to play a therapeutic role in prostate calcification. This results in a vicious cycle of feeling relieved as soon as the drug is taken, and stopping the drug again and again. Some hospitals advocate large doses and over-time use of drugs, which not only cannot cure prostatitis, but also increase the burden on the liver and kidneys, causing abnormal liver and kidney function, and worsening the condition.
