There is secretion from the glans penis, and the reason is actually like this

It is not common for men to have secretions from their glans penis. This is definitely an abnormal phenomenon. It may be caused by smegma in men, it may be the result of bacterial infection of the glans penis, or it may be caused by excessive cleaning.

1. Smegma

If people with long foreskins do not wash their penis frequently, the epithelium inside the foreskin and on the surface of the glans penis will accumulate in the foreskin sac to form white smegma. Especially for adolescent boys who do not know how to wash their penis since childhood, once the accumulation lasts for a long time, after the penis is erected and the foreskin is turned over for the first time, there will be a layer of white "tofu dregs" accumulated for several years on the surface of the glans penis, and the smegma may have dried up like white armor.

2. Excessive cleaning

Some male friends have a cleanliness fetish, so when washing, they will scrub the glans mucosa until it becomes very thin, tender, red, swollen and unbearable. Within a few days, the newly formed epithelium on the surface forms a layer of white film, which is often misdiagnosed as candidiasis by doctors. The patient will also be more eager to scrub, and the condition will not heal for a long time.

In fact, as long as you stop scrubbing and wait for the white epithelium to age and recover into a strong glans mucosa, you only need to stop improper cleaning. The correct cleaning method is to just rinse with water on weekdays, without frequent washing, and do not use various cleaning agents or medicines to scrub, so as not to lose more than you gain.

At this time, you can drop some dry cooking oil or iodine glycerin to soften it, wipe it off lightly, and remind the child to turn the foreskin frequently and clean it with clean water, at least once a week. If it cannot be cleaned off, you must go to the hospital for cleaning.

3. Candidiasis

The glans penis of men is a common site for candidiasis, especially those with prepuce that is too long. They often suffer from candidal glans balanitis, which is red, swollen, itchy, and covered with "white residue". Men may have candida themselves, or they may be infected by their family members or partners. For example, if a wife is infected with candidal vaginitis, she may infect him through sexual contact. Therefore, when men are being treated, it is best for their wives to be treated together.
