Care after circumcision, remember these seven points!

1. Careful care and disinfection are required after surgery

2. Keep the wound dry after surgery

3. Erection at night after surgery

Erections at night are very painful and may cause wound lacerations. You may also have 4 or 5 erections a night and be unable to sleep. Once an erection occurs, do not endure it and urinate immediately. Usually, the pain will be relieved after urinating, and the pain will go away after the ring is removed;

4. Postoperative edema

Postoperative edema is usually caused by the severance of the original venous artery during surgery, which needs to be slowly restored. You can take Maizhiling tablets orally twice a day to effectively relieve postoperative edema.

5. Removal of the IUD

The outer ring can be removed in the hospital 2 weeks after the operation. The inner ring will be removed roughly in the hospital, so you can soak it in iodine dilute solution at home.

6. Disinfection

After the IUD is removed, disinfect with iodine to prevent wound infection;

7. Adapt

Patients with phimosis may experience necrosis of the glans epidermis. Don't worry, this is due to the sensitivity of the glans penis, and the skin will change and recover after a period of adaptation.
