How to treat keratinized skin, methods to treat keratinized skin

Many people have this problem. Many small red spots appear on their skin. They are not painful or itchy, but they look dense and ugly. This is the phenomenon of skin keratinization. The stratum corneum of the skin will also undergo metabolism and aging. If not treated in time, keratinization will form on the skin.

1: How to treat skin keratinization

1: Keratosis pilaris most often occurs on the front or outside of the arms and legs, and is often mistaken for acne, pimples or not washed clean. It can occasionally be seen on the buttocks, back and cheeks. It is also called hair moss, keratosis pilaris, and "chicken skin". It is mainly caused by the keratinization of the hair follicles and has a lot to do with fat metabolism. Keratosis pilaris has no effect on life except for affecting beauty. According to statistics, 80% of people suffer from this disease, but most people only have a few, which is not easy to find. Generally, no treatment is required. In severe cases, it can be improved by taking a combination of 0.1% retinoic acid ointment and urea ointment for external use.

2: Note that the ointment is a bit irritating. It can only relieve the symptoms without curing them. Eat more carrots on a regular basis. Follicular keratosis is caused by abnormal accumulation of keratin, so exfoliation is the best solution. If the keratin near the hair follicles maintains a normal thickness, there will be no rough protrusions. Although keratinization is related to keratinization, it is not advisable to exfoliate excessively, especially in areas with more severe follicular keratinization, and it is not advisable to rub them specifically to avoid causing folliculitis. If the pores are keratinized and folliculitis is present, low-dose steroid ointments can be used to control inflammation, and then combined with creams such as retinoic acid or salicylic acid, continued treatment for several months can achieve significant improvement. You can also use Jipi Qingle directly, which is very effective. And patients with follicular keratosis should drink more water and replenish water on a regular basis.

2: Daily skin care precautions

1: First, you need to understand your skin type. If your skin is dry or sensitive, it doesn't matter if you don't exfoliate. If you want to do it, remember to choose a gentle exfoliating product and do it about once every 1 to 2 weeks.

2: For oily skin, especially in the summer, the rate of keratin production is faster than that of normal and dry skin. You can do it 1-2 times a week. If you have combination skin, the oilier T-zone and chin area can be treated as oily skin, and the drier cheeks can be treated as dry skin.

3: From a skincare perspective, facial exfoliation should be done after cleansing and when the face is still hydrated. Exfoliation should be done gently, using small circular motions, about 7 to 10 times per area. After exfoliation, rinse with clean water and then proceed with skincare.

4: After exfoliating your face, you must do some skin care, including moisturizing and sun protection (if you are going out). If you have sensitive skin, it is recommended to use skin care products that can help soothe (such as hot spring water) before moisturizing. In addition, the products and methods used for neck exfoliation should be consistent with those for facial skin.

3: If your skin is old and keratinized

If it happens, you need to use some relevant methods to deal with it in time. You can also choose to use an exfoliating facial cleanser when exfoliating. Such a facial cleanser only needs to be used twice a week. Then improve it from the diet. Remember to eat more light, nutritious and healthy food, and pay more attention to skin cleaning and care.
