Male Gram-negative diplococci

Male Gram-negative diplococci

What does it mean when a man is infected with Gram-positive bacteria but negative diplococci? In clinical medicine, Gram-positive bacteria but negative diplococci generally refer to Chlamydia, which is a common purulent pathogen. Generally, the urethral mucosa of the body is its only host. When the urethral mucosa of the body is infected with Chlamydia, significant clinical manifestations will appear, including purulent secretions at the urethral orifice, swelling of the male genitals, painful urination, burning urination and other symptoms.

Chlamydia infection of the urethral mucosa can cause chlamydial urethritis, which is a common reproductive tract infection. The main transmission route is through sexual intercourse or contact with clothes and pants contaminated by the environment. Because it can be spread to each other through sexual intercourse, once the above symptoms appear, it is necessary to actively go to the hospital for medical treatment. Early diagnosis and early treatment are very important for the recovery of the symptoms.

Gonococcal urethritis refers to acute urethritis caused by chlamydia infecting the urethra. It is a type of reproductive tract infection and one of the more common sexually transmitted diseases in clinical medicine. It is usually caused by unclean sexual life. The symptoms of gonococcal urethritis are more obvious. Generally, 5-7 days after sexual intercourse, urinary pain, edema of the urethra, and a lot of yellow-white sticky secretions appear at the urethra. According to the acid-fast staining test of urethral secretions, chlamydia can be detected and diagnosed. It should be noted that a small number of gonococcal urethritis are combined with non-gonococcal urethritis. Therefore, when checking urethral secretions, it is necessary to pay attention to the inspection of urethral secretions for chlamydia and mycoplasma, and sexual partners need to be checked and treated at the same time.

Gonorrheal urethritis is highly contagious, and patients should do necessary protective work at home, especially towels and washbasins should be used separately, and disinfected as much as possible after use. If the temperature is good during this period, put the sheets and clothes in the sun in time to help reduce inflammation and reduce accidents.
