What should I do if I have eczema on my head? Is there any treatment?

Summer is here, a season when various diseases are prone to break out, especially skin diseases, such as eczema. Eczema is relatively common to us, but scalp eczema is not well known. So what is scalp eczema? How to treat it?

Scalp eczema

Scalp eczema refers to eczema, which is an allergic disease with obvious exudation. In recent years, the incidence of eczema has been on the rise, which is related to the abuse of chemical products, environmental pollution, poor management of three wastes, accelerated pace of life, and increased mental stress.

Symptoms

① The disease can occur at any age; ② It can occur anywhere on the body surface; ③ It recurs frequently; ④ Erythema, papules, blisters, erosions, exudates, scabs, desquamation, and pigmentation can be seen locally or throughout the body; ⑤ It causes severe itching.

Causative factors

Internal factors: Allergic constitution is the main reason for the recurrence of eczema. Other factors include metabolic, endocrine or digestive tract disorders, neuropsychiatric dysfunction, excessive fatigue, mental stress, lesion infection, intestinal parasites, varicose veins, hyperhidrosis, dry skin, etc.

External factors include chemicals, cosmetics, fragrances, dyes, detergents, animal toxins, eggs, fish, shrimp, milk and other foreign proteins, pollen, dust, bacterial infection, sun exposure, cold, scratching, etc. Internal factors are the main reason for the recurrence of eczema, and toxins in the body are the basis for the existence of eczema. Thorough detoxification and changing the allergic constitution are the key to the fundamental treatment of eczema.

Clinical manifestations

Acute eczema is often distributed in opposite directions. The rash has many forms, such as erythema, papules, blisters, erosions, exudates and scabs. It is extremely itchy and scratching can cause infection. It is easy to become chronic and recur.

Chronic eczema is common on the limbs. It manifests as thickening and roughening of the skin, which may present lichenification, desquamation, pigmentation, and spontaneous itching. It often occurs acutely and the course of the disease can last from several months to several years.

Treatment

External treatment of acute eczema
