Symptoms of insufficient kidney yin fluid are mostly caused by long-term illness that damages the kidneys, or insufficient endowment, excessive sexual intercourse, or excessive intake of warm, dry, and yin-inhibiting products.

Its main symptoms are soreness of waist and knees, dizziness, tinnitus, insomnia, hot flashes and sweating, fever in the five parts of the body, dry throat and red cheeks, yellow urine and dry stools, red tongue with little fluid, and weak and rapid pulse.

Kidney Yang Deficiency:

Symptoms of kidney-yang deficiency are mostly caused by yang deficiency in the body, kidney deficiency due to old age, kidney damage due to long-term illness, and excessive sexual intercourse.

The main symptoms are soreness and pain in the waist and knees, fear of cold and cold limbs, especially in the lower limbs, dizziness, listlessness, pale or dark complexion, and infertility due to uterine cold in women; or prolonged loose stools, undigested food, diarrhea at dawn, or swelling, especially below the waist, which is concave when pressed, or even a bloated abdomen, swelling all over the body, palpitations, cough and asthma.
