It’s not scary to break up! Tips for treating depression caused by break up

No one wants to face a breakup, but sometimes, the breakup has become irreversible, so you should be more open to it. Some people can't get over the breakup for a long time, and even suffer from breakup depression. What should you do?

1. Vent out your negative emotions after a breakup

No matter who you are, no matter how strong you are, after a breakup, you will inevitably experience anxiety, depression and other negative emotions. And those who want to cry but dare not, or even have to force a smile, may seem very "strong" on the surface, but in fact they are very harmful to themselves. Everyone should have the right to cry, especially when they are heartbroken. For those who cannot cry in front of others, we can find a place to cry in private; for those who are not used to crying loudly, they might as well let their tears flow as much as possible.

2. Calmly and rationally analyze where our problem lies

After suffering for a while, we should face ourselves rationally and calmly analyze what went wrong. Since the breakup is a fact, we should face the reality. Remember, as mentioned before, this is not a question of right or wrong, but a question of suitability. What you need to do is to find out what you can't stand about the other person; when is the other person happiest and why? When is the other person the most painful and why?

After finding these factors, see which ones can be changed, and change them if they can be changed. See which ones cannot be changed, and the next time you look for a lover, look for someone who can better adapt to your "characteristics".

3. Appeal

When you are heartbroken, you should first find a close friend. Vent your pain and worries to your close friend without reservation, and then listen to their consolation and guidance. This can help you release your pain and worries, find psychological comfort and sustenance, achieve a balanced mentality, purify your mind, and reduce and eliminate negative emotions.

4. Transfer

When you are heartbroken, you can talk to friends of the opposite sex, or take a walk and chat with friends; or you can deliberately arrange some work for yourself that is heavy but not too detailed and not too dangerous, so that you have no time to care about and forget the pain and worries; or you can participate in your favorite entertainment activities, such as chess, painting, dancing, and disco, to divert your attention and relieve your depression; you can immerse yourself in nature, melt yourself into the broad bosom of nature, and get comfort.
