3. Protein intake can be based on body weight and proportion. 0.8 to 1 gram of protein should be taken for every 1 kg of body weight, mainly from milk and eggs. If it is lean meat, chicken, duck, etc., it should be boiled and eaten without soup, and stewed meat or halved meat should be avoided.

4. Eat less fat, because fat can reduce the excretion of uric acid. For gout patients with hyperlipidemia, fat intake should be controlled within 20% to 25% of total calories.

5. Drink plenty of water. You should drink 2000ml to 3000ml of water every day to promote the excretion of uric acid.

6. Eat less salt, which should be limited to 2 to 5 grams per day.

7. Avoid drinking alcohol! Alcohol can easily cause lactic acid to accumulate in the body, inhibit the excretion of uric acid, and easily induce gout.

8. Use less strong seasonings or spices.

9. Limit purine intake. Purine is a component in the cell nucleus. Any food that contains cells contains purine, and animal foods contain more purine. Patients should avoid eating viscera, bone marrow, seafood, fermented foods, beans, etc.

10. It is not advisable to use drugs that inhibit the excretion of uric acid.
