What causes testicular pain?

Some friends often experience testicular swelling and pain. At the beginning, many friends do not take it seriously, thinking that it will be fine as long as it is relieved for a few days. In fact, this idea is not correct, because the testicles play a very important role in men. Once there is a problem with the testicles, it will have a great impact on the male's future fertility. So what are the causes of testicular swelling and pain? The following is a brief introduction.

The cerebral cortex transmits excitement to the spinal cord. On the one hand, it makes the spinal cord control the central nervous system of genital erection excited, causing the penis to erect. On the other hand, it increases the secretion of the glands and ducts of the reproductive system. A large amount of secretions (mainly prostatic fluid, seminal vesicle fluid, etc.) accumulate in the seminal vesicle, vas deferens, epididymis and urethra. At this time, if sexual intercourse occurs, these secretions will form semen through ejaculation, and will be ejected from the body together with sperm. However, if sexual intercourse does not occur, these secretions cannot be ejected, and the state of "full semen cannot overflow" is presented. In this way, the prostate, vas deferens and epididymis are passively expanded, stimulating the nerves of these organs, and reflexively causing bloating pain. Initially, the pain only occurs in the testicles. If sexual excitement is not subsided, the pain will spread upward along the vas deferens, causing lower abdominal pain and even back pain. In severe cases, the patient may not be able to straighten his back and can only walk with his body bent and his abdomen supported.

Testicular swelling and pain caused by sexual stimulation is a physiological phenomenon, not a disease. After the sexual stimulation stops, the secretions are gradually absorbed and overflow from the urethra, and the pain will gradually subside without any sequelae. Therefore, if this happens, there is no need for treatment. The key is to immediately avoid sexual stimulation or control sexual excitement.

The above are the more common causes of testicular pain. Don’t take it lightly when you experience testicular pain, because testicular pain may be a precursor to some diseases. So when these symptoms appear, you should get checked in time so that you can detect it when the disease is most prevalent and get early treatment.
