What are the clinical manifestations of genital herpes?

Genital herpes has become a major problem that threatens the genitals of many of us. Genital herpes is different from ordinary diseases. It involves our own privacy issues. Many people are unwilling to go to the hospital for treatment, so they use some self-treatment methods. However, self-treatment methods have not achieved good treatment effects. I believe that many people are interested in the clinical manifestations and symptoms of genital herpes. Let me briefly describe it.

Genital herpes is a common sexually transmitted disease in men and one of the sexually transmitted diseases with the highest incidence in my country. Genital herpes is highly contagious and harmful, and its recurrence is also relatively strong. Genital herpes has seriously affected the life and work of male friends. Experts point out that genital herpes is a disease that is prone to recurrence. Many people with genital herpes suffer from long-term recurrence of genital herpes due to bad living habits, causing themselves a lot of unnecessary trouble and harm. Then, recurrent genital herpes occurs within half a year or month after the primary onset.

Nearly 60% of patients will relapse within one year after the first infection with type II herpes virus, and the disease may relapse 4-6 times within a year, and the number of relapses will gradually decrease thereafter. Genital herpes, also known as vulvar herpes, is a sexually transmitted disease caused by the herpes simplex virus. Clinically, it is generally divided into primary genital herpes and recurrent genital herpes. The causes of recurrence of genital herpes are mostly colds, fever, getting angry, frequent sexual intercourse, excessive fatigue, indigestion and dry climate. When the disease recurs, the affected area may feel hot and itchy. Recurrent genital herpes has prodromal symptoms, such as local tingling and mild pain, itching, etc. The lesion begins to erode or pustule, and then ulcerate and scab. The systemic symptoms of patients with recurrent genital herpes are milder than those of the original disease, and the course of each attack is also shorter. Usually, the skin lesions disappear in about 10 days. The recurrent site is generally in the original place, but the number of blisters, duration and subjective symptoms are milder than those of the original case, the lymph nodes are not enlarged, and there are rarely systemic symptoms. Recurrent genital herpes often occurs in the vagina, vulva, cervix and glans, and urethra is less common.

Many people do not know much about the clinical manifestations and symptoms of genital herpes, so they cannot take effective treatment methods in time if they fail to discover the disease in the first place. We can all use the above introduction to judge whether we have genital herpes problems to help us take effective methods for treatment as soon as possible to avoid the disease from worsening.
