Can prostate stones be cured?

Prostate stones are a disease with a high incidence rate in middle-aged and elderly men, and patients often have difficulty urinating. To treat prostate stones, you need to go to the hospital to check its shape, size, etc., and follow the doctor's arrangement to see which treatment method is suitable. Although sometimes the symptoms do not feel very serious, it must be treated as soon as possible, otherwise it will cause serious consequences. Generally speaking, it is treated through surgery.

1. Traditional surgical treatment

The most commonly used method of so-called traditional surgical treatment is transurethral removal of the prostate and stones. It is mostly used for younger patients to avoid sexual dysfunction, and can also be used for the elderly and weak to reduce the impact on the body. The disadvantage is that it is not easy to completely remove the stones. For deep prostate stones and multiple stones, transperineal total prostatectomy can be used to remove the prostate and stones. If necessary, bilateral seminal vesicles can be removed. For patients with large and multiple stones accompanied by prostate hyperplasia, suprapubic prostate and stone removal should be used. However, for patients with perianal prostatitis, surgery is more difficult.

2. Minimally invasive surgery

With the development of society, people are paying more and more attention to how to reduce massive bleeding and other injuries to the human body as much as possible while treating diseases. Minimally invasive technology came into being under this situation. The advantages of minimally invasive surgery are small wounds, less pain, and quick recovery. Minimally invasive surgery for prostate stones is based on traditional treatments, with improvements and technological innovations. It is performed in the form of a small incision at the location of the prostate stone, and the stones inside the gland are removed to achieve the purpose of treating prostate stones. Although minimally invasive surgery is more delicate than traditional surgery, both are surgical treatments.

In addition to surgical treatment, patients can usually eat more pumpkin, ginger, walnuts and other foods, which are beneficial to prostate stones. To prevent prostate stones, we must eat less spicy food, must not hold urine, and cannot drink alcohol. Don't have too much negative mood, relieve stress in life in time, and relax yourself.
