Causes of pain in the lower abdomen of men

Abdominal pain is something that almost everyone has experienced, but most of the time it is diarrhea-related. This type of abdominal pain can be completely resolved by defecation, but some types of abdominal pain may have other problems. The causes of abdominal pain in men and women are different, so we should not make a conclusion easily. Let's take a look at the causes of abdominal pain on both sides of a man's lower abdomen.

It may be prostatitis. The lower abdomen is where the prostate gland is located. Some symptoms of prostatitis include lower abdominal distension and pain, frequent urination at night, frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination, weak urination, white urine after urination, incomplete urination, and bifurcated urine. Now you feel lower abdominal distension and pain. The prostate gland itself is the cause of lower abdominal distension and pain. Go to the hospital as soon as possible to see if there is a problem with the prostate gland, or do a prostate fluid analysis, or do a B-ultrasound. If it is prostatitis, then go and get treatment as soon as possible, and the frequent urination will be gone. But frequent urination alone is not necessarily caused by prostatitis. Urethritis can also cause frequent urination. Some people may have mental or neurological frequent urination. For example, I have met many patients who want to urinate more and more before going to bed. Over time, it becomes frequent urination. When they are really asleep, they don't urinate even if they have to. Before falling asleep, they urinate after thinking for a while. This is mental, not real frequent urination. Real frequent urination is caused by urinary tract infection.

As we just said, non-gonococcal urethritis or normal urethritis, such as urethritis caused by E. coli infection, will cause frequent urination. The so-called frequent urination means that as long as there is urgency and pain when urinating after infection, frequent urination will occur. If you don't urinate, you will feel extreme pain in the urethra. When you pee, you can only pee a few drops. This is the real meaning of frequent urination.

The causes of disease in men and women are different, so the treatment methods are also different. If you have frequent abdominal pain, you should consider whether it is caused by inflammation. It is best to go to the hospital for a detailed examination and anti-inflammatory treatment. If the inflammation in the body is not treated in time, it will cause great trouble in the later stage.
