What is the reason for the white particles in the coronal groove?

In daily life, many physiological diseases are bothering our sexual health. Failure to pay attention to hygiene and the invasion of bacteria may cause certain inflammation in our bodies. For example, many men often find that there are small white particles in the coronal sulcus next to the glans penis. The painful and itchy feeling makes people very uncomfortable. In the next article, let's understand the reasons!

Pathology

Histopathological examination of penile pearly papules showed hyperkeratosis, mild to moderate hyperplasia of the epidermis, normal basal layer, slight hyperplasia and density of collagen fibers in the dermis, varying degrees of hyperplasia and dilation of dermal papillary capillaries, a small amount of lymphocyte infiltration around them, and no pit cells.

Diagnostic points

The key points in differentiating and diagnosing penile pearly papules and condylar warts are that in the former, the lesions are limited to the edge of the glans, the number of lesions is larger, they are pearly milky white papules with a smooth surface, the lesions do not increase in size as the disease progresses, and the acetic acid test is negative; while in the latter, the lesions are not limited to the edge of the glans, they are mostly single and scattered, the lesions are larger, the surface is not smooth, and they are mostly cauliflower-shaped. They gradually increase in size as the disease progresses, the acetic acid test is positive, and concave cells are found in histopathological examination.

Treatment principles

Pearly penile papules are a benign disease. For some people, they may disappear after a certain period of time, while for others, they may remain unchanged for decades. Because the disease is not contagious and does not harm health, it does not need to be treated. However, in order to prevent the disease from getting worse, it is very important for patients to pay attention to local hygiene and keep a dry environment. If the patient requires treatment, laser therapy, cryotherapy or external application of pearl-like drugs can be used to remove them, but remember to avoid excessive damage that causes scars and causes pain to the patient. For some patients, recurrence may occur after removing these lesions.

From the article, we learned that there are small white particles in the coronary sulcus. This is a phenomenon caused by bacterial infections such as eczema that occur in daily life. White papules are also the main cause. Since viral infections can easily cause such symptoms, they need timely treatment.
