Postoperative care

1. Try to keep the wound dry after the operation. Winter is more suitable than summer. It will be very troublesome to take a bath after circumcision in summer. In addition, if you urinate on the gauze, you should go to the hospital to change it in time.

2. Avoid sexual stimulation and sexual fantasies as much as possible after the operation to prevent penile erection. Of course, the doctor will prescribe some drugs to prevent erection for the patient, but if sexual stimulation cannot be controlled, it is still possible that the erection may cause wound rupture or delay wound healing;

3. Avoid friction after surgery. Sports such as cycling will have a greater impact on recovery. Do not drink alcohol, eat spicy food, fish, beef, mutton, seafood and other foods. Generally speaking, you can resume your normal life one week after surgery. However, due to the high sensitivity of the glans penis, there will be a short-term sense of unnaturalness, but it will disappear about two weeks after surgery. You can have a normal sexual life 2 to 4 weeks after surgery.

If there is sexual intercourse, the couple will be cross-infected. In severe cases, the bacteria will invade the urethra, prostate, and bladder.
