Men's mental health knowledge

Since I got married, I have come into contact with more and more people in my life circle and chatted with friends. I have learned more and more about men's problems, especially men's mental health. I want to know how to distinguish a person's mental health or unhealthy, and how can a man's mental health be healthy?

1. Understand yourself.

There is a person who will always live with us, and that person is ourselves - the self. Confucius said: "He who knows himself is wise; he who knows others is intelligent." Only when we understand ourselves and accept ourselves can we be happy and healthy. If we understand our strengths, we will know the direction of our development; if we understand our shortcomings, we will make fewer mistakes and avoid doing things that are beyond our ability.

2. Face reality.

We may not be born into a wealthy family; our work may not be satisfactory; our spouse may not be smart, capable, or considerate; our children may not be smart, clever, or obedient; we may also be experiencing setbacks and hardships. However, only if we face and accept all of this, can we change. Only if we recognize reality, accept reality, and keep our feet on the ground, can we gain more.

3. Be good at getting along with others.

People live in a society made up of others, just like fish live in water. Without others, without their help and care, people cannot survive. Psychologists have calculated that about 80% of life's troubles are related to one's interpersonal environment. Being picky about others, getting angry at others easily, infringing on others' interests, and not paying attention to the limits of interpersonal communication will bring endless troubles to oneself.

4. Have a family and a career.

Family and career are the source of responsibility and pressure for adult men. Family is a haven of love. Family harmony and career success are not incompatible. They are mutually reinforcing. "A harmonious family brings prosperity." If you can't "put your family in order," you probably can't "bring peace to the world." When dealing with the relationship between the two, men must have a clear understanding and a healthy attitude.

5. Obtain it in a proper way.

"A gentleman loves money, but he gets it in a proper way." On the one hand, we should increase our income in an honest way, and on the other hand, we should treat our own desires with a healthy attitude. Apart from jealousy and envy, we should treat the temptations in the world with a normal heart. Don't be corrupt or take bribes, don't take advantage of others, be self-disciplined and stick to your principles. God will always give opportunities to those who are diligent.

The above five suggestions are just summed up through practice. If you do not meet the above five requirements, it does not mean that your mental health is unhealthy. Whether a person's mental health is healthy mainly depends on his personal values. You can also judge a person's mental activities through daily conversations. In life, most people are mentally healthy.
