What are the treatments for prostatitis?

Prostatitis is a common disease in life. It is mainly caused by patients who drink a lot and smoke a lot. The prostate is related to many functions of the body. Once the prostate is abnormal, it may lead to endocrine disorders and other system disorders. Therefore, we should treat prostatitis in time to avoid affecting the operation of other functions.

In acute prostatitis, patients may experience frequent urination, urgency, and pain during urination. They may also experience dribbling urine, terminal hematuria, swelling and pain in the perineum, and pain that radiates to the genitals, lumbar region, or thighs. They may also experience high fever, chills, headache, body pain, fatigue, and loss of appetite.

1. Massage the prostate area every night or morning after washing your hands. This area is mainly behind the male penis, and each massage should not be less than 20 minutes.

2. The intensity of the massage should be based on your own comfort. The effect will be more obvious if you continue to massage for about 7 days. This is more effective than taking medicine, because local massage can promote the disappearance of local inflammation, and it is also a good method of treatment.

3. If you can add some medicine to assist in the massage process, you can use some anti-inflammatory drugs or injectable drugs, which will be more effective in treatment.

4. Application of anticonvulsant and analgesic drugs: ibuprofen 60mg, oral, 4 times/d; indomethacin (indomethacin) suppository 0.1g, intrarectal administration, once/d. For patients with obvious urination irritation symptoms, tolterodine 2mg, oral, 2 times/d or flavoxate (urinary anesthetic) 0.2g, oral, 3 times/d can be used.

Other treatments: Antipyretic and analgesic drugs can be used, such as Suomiton (pain-relieving tablets), acetaminophen (Sanlitong), acetaminophen (Baifuning), etc. Those with dysuria can use α-receptor blocking drugs, such as Natol 25mg, terazosin 2mg or tamsulosin (Halor) 0.2mg, orally, once a day. For those with acute urinary retention, it is not advisable to place a catheter, but suprapubic bladder puncture and fistula should be performed. When complicated with prostate abscess, it should be incised and drained.

We hope that everyone can understand the treatment methods of prostatitis introduced in the article, which will be helpful for your treatment of prostatitis. For the disease of prostatitis, we can use prostate massage and drugs such as Sumitonide to treat it, which will help relieve the patient's pain.
