Glomerulonephritis

Glomerulonephritis

Glomerulonephritis is also called nephritis. For such a disease, in fact, after it occurs, it mainly belongs to the disease of both sides of our body, for example, the allergic reaction type of the glomerulus of the kidney occurs. Glomerulonephritis is a common kidney disease in our daily life, which is divided into two types: acute glomerulonephritis and chronic glomerulonephritis. Let's take a closer look at this knowledge.

Glomerulonephritis can be divided into two types: acute and chronic. When the disease occurs, it is mainly caused by physical infection during training. Most cases will develop pharyngitis or tonsillitis after two to three weeks, but the degree of infection is also related to the disease itself.

The medical community is not clear about the cause of glomerulonephritis. It is generally believed that it may be caused by a genetic defect in the synthesis of the glomerular basement membrane. One characteristic of this disease is that there is a clear family history. Often, some family members of several generations will have hematuria. Hematuria is the most common manifestation of hereditary glomerulonephritis, and it is more common in young men.

It can be divided into primary glomerulonephritis and secondary glomerulonephritis. Primary glomerulonephritis is an independent disease originating from the kidneys, and the lesions mainly affect the kidneys. Secondary glomerulonephritis is caused by other diseases, and kidney lesions are part of systemic diseases. Primary glomerulonephritis can be divided into four types: ① mild glomerular lesions; ② focal segmental lesions; ③ diffuse glomerulonephritis; ④ unclassified glomerulonephritis. Secondary glomerulonephritis can be divided into three types: ① lupus glomerulonephritis; ② purpuric glomerulonephritis; ③ diabetic nephropathy. In addition, vascular diseases such as hypertension and metabolic diseases such as diabetes can also cause glomerular disease. (Note: Glomerulonephritis in general clinical practice usually refers to primary glomerulonephritis unless otherwise specified.)

When chronic glomerulonephritis occurs, there are actually many causes of the disease in the body. If we do not actively treat our disease after acute glomerulonephritis occurs, it will be delayed for more than a year and the disease will turn into chronic glomerulonephritis, which will be more serious.
