Qi deficiency According to traditional Chinese medicine, the "qi" in the human body has the function of regulating body temperature and controlling the opening of pores. In addition to being afraid of cold and sweating, people with qi deficiency often have loose muscles and poor physical strength. They get tired easily as long as the intensity of physical labor is slightly greater. The body's defense ability is generally not very good, and it is easy to catch a cold. It takes longer to recover from a cold than others.

In traditional Chinese medicine, it is believed that "Yang deficiency leads to external coldness". When a person's Yang Qi is insufficient, he or she cannot resist the invasion of external cold evils and will feel cold. Generally, people with Yang deficiency have symptoms such as fear of cold, cold hands and feet, listlessness, loose stools, and even indigestion.

Depending on the five internal organs of the heart, liver, spleen, lung, and kidney, the symptoms are different. For example, in addition to the usual symptoms of yang deficiency, heart yang deficiency also has palpitations, stuffiness, precordial pain, insomnia, and restlessness. Liver yang deficiency may cause dizziness, discomfort under the ribs on both sides, breast swelling and pain, fear or depression. Spleen yang deficiency may cause poor appetite, hiccups, belching, loose stools, and other symptoms. Kidney yang deficiency may cause soreness in the waist and knees, urination or obstruction, impotence and premature ejaculation, and sexual dysfunction. Lung Yang deficiency usually manifests itself in symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, weak breathing, low voice and few words. However, no matter which type of Yang deficiency it is, fear of cold and cold hands and feet are the main manifestations of Yang deficiency.

Blood deficiency Many female friends are afraid of cold due to blood deficiency. Why do I say that? Menstruation, dysmenorrhea, pregnancy and childbirth can all cause blood loss, and fatigue during menstruation, excessive menstrual flow, excessive bleeding during childbirth, etc. can all lead to blood deficiency. Women with blood deficiency and cold generally show symptoms such as sallow or pale complexion, fatigue, and cold limbs.
