And sexually transmitted diseases can also cause testicular swelling and pain, such as gonorrhea. Many patients with prostatitis also have testicular pain.

2. Testicular torsion: It usually occurs after a few hours of excessive exercise or when the male testicles are subjected to external forces. Severe testicular pain suddenly occurs when the male testicles are in poor sleep or quiet. It is the first symptom of this disease and one of the key diagnostic evidences of testicular torsion. Some patients also have testicular swelling, nausea, dry belching, and obvious dull pain.

3. Damage: Male testicles are relatively delicate. When they are damaged by foreigners, male testicles will swell and become painful. Patients with male testicular injuries will continue to experience nausea and vomiting, and in more serious cases, they may faint and suffer from shock.

4. Male testicular ischemic pain: The symptoms of male testicular ischemic pain are common in the elderly. The pain is more severe, aggravated during activities, and moderately relieved during rest. Semen microscopy is normal. It is often due to sclerosis of the male testicular artery leading to stenosis of the aorta.

5. Orchitis: There are many factors that cause orchitis. For example, patients with influenza or mumps may have a high incidence of orchitis, testicular pain and swelling. Gonorrhea is the most common reproductive tract infection at this stage, and it can cause orchitis when it is more serious. Chronic prostatitis can also cause testicular pain, which is mainly manifested as unilateral pain, often dull pain or spreading pain, and is persistent. Orchitis is more common in young people and rare in the elderly.
