Causes and pathogenesis of scrotal itching

1. Private parts temperature high, wet and cold

It is common among energetic workers, especially in summer, when the private parts have high temperature, sweat a lot, are humid and cold, and have poor air permeability. The scrotal skin is soaked in sweat and rubbed by underwear, causing itching. Too tight jeans and polyester underwear that are not moisture-absorbing and breathable can also cause itching.

2. Vitamin B2 (vitamin B22) deficiency

It can cause scrotitis. The scrotum will show changes such as erythema, dryness, scaling, papules and scars, accompanied by itching. In addition, angular cheilitis, glossitis and oral ulcers may also occur.

3. Inflammation

Scrotal inflammation caused by bacteria, such as trichomonal scrotitis and tinea cruris invading the scrotum, can cause scrotal itching.

4. Other symptoms

Neurodermatitis, allergic dermatitis, scabies, eczema, etc. in the scrotum area can all cause itching.

5. Internal and external factors

People with allergic constitutions, long-term mental anxiety, and volatile moods are prone to this disease.
