What is the reason for painful urination? Many male friends will feel a stinging pain when urinating. So what is the reason for painful urination for men? Let's analyze the reasons for painful urination for men.

Urinary pain refers to pain in the urethra, bladder and perineum when urinating. The pain level ranges from mild to severe, often burning, severe like a knife, and mild like a needle.

Painful urination is common in urethritis, prostatitis, prostatic hyperplasia, seminal vesiculitis, cystitis, urethral stones, bladder tuberculosis, pyelonephritis, etc.

The clinical symptom of painful urination is inflammation, which is caused by sexual intercourse with people infected with mycoplasma and chlamydia. Symptoms generally include itching, burning and painful urination at the urethral opening, and rarely frequent urination and urgency, with a slight redness of the urethral opening. In the morning, there is a small amount of mucous secretion or only a crusty opening at the urethral opening, or the pubic region is dirty and the urine stream is forked when urinating.

What causes painful urination?

1. Gonorrhea

Chlamydia is a common genital tract infection caused by Chlamydia. The clinical symptoms are urethritis, redness, swelling, pus, stinging and burning sensation at the urethral opening. Urinary incontinence and frequent urination can turn into acute urethritis if not treated promptly. If there is a lot of thick, purulent secretions at the urethral opening, it is likely gonorrhea. Frequent and urgent urination, inability to hold urine, severe pain during urination, burning sensation at the urethral opening, and even abnormal or persistent hardening of the male genitals may be subacute gonorrhea. If there is inflammatory adhesion at the urethral opening and the urine stream is bifurcated like a musical fountain, it may be acute gonorrhea.

2. Chlamydia and mycoplasma disease

Chlamydia and Mycoplasma are a special project for non-gonococcal urethritis. They are neither bacteria nor viral infection-related microorganisms. They are an independent type of microorganism.

The damage to the urinary system is extremely serious and can cause infertility. Clinical medicine shows that it causes painful urination, redness of the urethral opening, frequent and urgent urination, incomplete urination, urethral pain, burning sensation, dripping urine, back pain, lower abdominal pain, and discomfort in the vulva.

3. Genital herpes

A sexually transmitted disease caused by herpes simplex virus type 2.

It is highly contagious, and the main symptoms are itching, burning, and pain in the private parts, thighs, or buttocks. Then, there will be noticeable ulcers in the private parts, buttocks, anus, or other parts of the body. These lesions will heal within a few weeks, but for most people, this disease can recur.

4. Condyloma acuminatum

It is a sexually transmitted disease caused by infection with the condyloma acuminata virus and is difficult to cure.

Condyloma virus infection is human papillomavirus infection, which has many different subtypes, such as HPV1, 2, 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33 and 35. Condyloma warts can occur on the vulva, vagina, cervix, anus, and cauliflower-like growth of microorganisms in the sexual organs, which can burst, ooze and infect, or even appear in the throat.

5. Non-leukoplakia

Key A sexually transmitted disease caused by mycoplasma and chlamydia.

The symptoms are similar to those of gonorrhea, with a critical period of 10-20 days. Symptoms are mild, including painful urination, discomfort at the urethral opening, itching, burning or stinging, swelling at the urethral opening, thin discharge at the urethral opening, and a feeling of "maintaining life" in the morning. Negligence or failure to promptly treat the disease may lead to premature ejaculation, acute epididymitis, prostatitis, male infertility, etc.
