What is the disease of white pus discharge from the glans penis?

The glans penis of men is part of the reproductive organ. Some men often find some white pus in the glans penis. This is also an abnormal manifestation in clinical practice. This symptom is mostly caused by some diseases. However, there are still many diseases related to it, and it cannot be judged by a single symptom. So what disease is the white pus discharge from the glans penis of men?

1. The most common disease of glans penis is balanoposthitis, which causes the foreskin and glans penis to be infected and then produce white discharge. Acute urethritis and acute gonococcal urethritis, also known as gonorrhea, may also cause the glans penis to have white pus discharge. If this is the case, you need to go to the hospital for urine tests, urine bacterial culture, and pus bacterial culture to make a clear diagnosis, and give sensitive antibiotics for anti-inflammatory symptomatic treatment to achieve the purpose of cure. If the glans penis has white pus discharge, you should go to the hospital for treatment immediately without delay.

2. White purulent discharge from the glans penis may be gonorrhea, a sexually transmitted disease, usually a symptom after unclean sex. Most of the time it occurs in the early morning, and the underwear can be observed to be relatively dirty. After a routine urine test, leukocytosis can be observed. Bacterial culture can show that gonococci are positive and the diagnosis can be confirmed. Treatment can be with second-generation cephalosporin antibiotics or penicillin. The general course of treatment is two weeks. However, most of them will also be combined with mycoplasma or chlamydia infection, and the symptoms are easily masked.

3. If white pus flows out of the urethra, the first disease to consider is urethritis. Generally speaking, urethritis is mainly divided into gonococcal urethritis and non-gonococcal urethritis. From the clinical manifestations, the clinical symptoms of gonococcal urethritis are relatively more severe, with more obvious symptoms of frequent urination, urgency, and pain. At the same time, the concentrated fluid flowing out of the urethra is relatively viscous and yellowish in color. For non-gonococcal urethritis, the purulent secretions are relatively thinner. From the perspective of treatment, gonococcal urethritis is mainly treated with intravenous drip of cefoxitin or ceftriaxone for anti-infection treatment. For non-gonococcal urethritis, the pathogen is usually mycoplasma or chlamydia. The recommended treatment is tetracycline antibiotics, such as minocycline or doxycycline.
