The dangers of smoking for men

Men face great pressure in life after adulthood, so some men choose to smoke to relieve the pressure. Although smoking can temporarily relax people's mental state, it is generally very harmful to the human body. Long-term smokers will have obvious symptoms of pneumonia, pharyngitis and other diseases, so male smokers can also learn about the harm of smoking to the male body.

1. Lung damage

Smoking can harm the lungs, and I believe most people know this, because after smoking, nicotine and coal tar will settle in the lungs, damaging lung health. In addition, smoking can also induce breathing difficulties. It can be seen that people who smoke in life have relatively poor physical strength, and they will experience shortness of breath after a little exercise. When this group of people enter the elderly stage, they are more likely to develop chronic obstructive pulmonary disease than others, and relevant data show that smokers are more likely to suffer from lung cancer than non-smokers.

2. Oral Diseases

Smoking has the most direct impact on the oral cavity, which can cause yellowing of teeth. The nicotine in the smoke can also induce some oral diseases and may even lead to oral cancer. Most smokers have bad breath to varying degrees, and sometimes cough with green phlegm. Relevant data shows that among couples, nearly 20% of them break up because of smoking.

3. Blood vessel blockage

Compared with non-smokers, smokers are more prone to blood vessel blockage and have a higher sudden death rate. In terms of the cleanliness of their blood vessels, non-smokers have healthier blood vessels and are less likely to suffer from blood vessel blockage.

4. Decreased sperm count

Smoking affects the quality and quantity of sperm in men. Examinations have shown that the sperm concentration of smokers is significantly lower than that of non-smokers. This is because tobacco contains toxins, which affect the activity of sperm and the concentration of semen, and also damage the cell structure of sperm to a certain extent. As well as affecting male fertility, even pregnancy will affect the health of the baby.

5. Gastric ulcer

The most obvious harmful substance in cigarettes is nicotine, and this substance weakens the activity of the stomach, so it is easy to be unable to resist Helicobacter pylori. Therefore, smokers are more likely to suffer from gastric ulcers than non-smokers.

6. Rough skin

Smokers are prone to skin problems, such as acne and acne, because the blood circulation rate will be affected after smoking. When the blood circulation rate slows down, the chance of skin infection will increase. Moreover, once smokers have skin problems, it is more difficult to recover.
