Prostate cramps

Many men do not pay attention to prostate health issues when they are young, which leads to prostate diseases when they are older. The symptom of prostate cramps is also called prostate spasm in medicine. From a medical point of view, prostate cramps are often an important cause of prostatitis, so patients have to pay attention to the problem of prostate cramps. The following article will explain the causes of prostate cramps.

Prostatic urethral spasm refers to the spasm of the prostate and prostatic urethral smooth muscle. It is a common cause of nonbacterial prostatitis and prostatitis pain, so the above two diseases are called "irritable prostatitis" or "prostatitis syndrome". Some scholars also believe that the urodynamic characteristics of nonbacterial prostatitis are characterized by external sphincter hypersensitivity and hyperreflexia. Prostatic urethral spasm is a predisposing factor for prostatitis, and is also one of the reasons why prostatitis is difficult to cure and easy to recur. It can also often cause bladder function damage, which should be given enough attention.

Typical complaints: pain and discomfort in the perineum, inguinal groove, testicles, lumbosacral region, and lower abdomen near the pubic arch, with the most prominent pain and discomfort in the penis and urethra, or rib pain, or urethral pain during ejaculation. Urethral irritation symptoms include urgency, frequency, pain, urethral discomfort, and increased nocturia. Patients may also experience worry, anxiety, worry, guilt, anger, and other emotions, and symptoms may persist for several months. The urinary flow curve is a high-amplitude, dense tooth-shaped transition, the maximum urine flow rate is still normal, and the average urine flow rate is significantly impaired; moderate to residual urine; it can be seen in all age groups of adults.

Treatment should be combined with other methods. ① α1-receptor blockers, such as 0.2 mg of Harle, taken orally once a day. This type of medicine should be started with a small dose until it works. ② Chinese medicine can be used to activate blood circulation, soothe the liver and regulate qi, such as red peony root, salvia miltiorrhiza, peach kernel, phellodendron, safflower, basil, moutan bark, Chuanlianzi, Achyranthes bidentata, angelica root, kudzu vine, fenugreek, motherwort, etc. Those with significant residual urine, revealing detrusor weakness, should be given Buzhong Yiqi Pills and Zhiling Capsules to help restore bladder contraction function. In addition, there are stress management, as well as mental adjustment, diet adjustment, and lifestyle adjustment.
