What medicine should men take for left testicle pain

What medicine should men take for left testicle pain

Although the testicles are not as conspicuous as the penis on the male body, they also play an important physiological function. Because the testicles in the male body mainly play the role of storing semen, so if there is a problem with the testicles, it will affect the survival rate of male semen. The male testicles are mainly divided into two parts, the left and right testicles. Some men have pain in the left testicle. What drugs can be used to treat this?

Testicular pain is mostly seen in orchitis or testicular injury. Orchitis is generally caused by infection with pathogens. In addition to bloodstream infection, it is more common for bacteria to retrograde through the urethra to the epididymis and testicles, causing orchitis. Clinically, epididymis and testicle swelling and pain can be seen. Testicular injury usually has a history of trauma or local swelling and bruising. Vigorous exercise or excessively intense sexual intercourse or violent beatings can sometimes cause strong contraction of the levator testis, causing the testicles with too long frenulum to twist and cause severe testicular pain.

Because of those reasons, the testicles will have pain symptoms, and the pain symptoms are divided into two types. Chronic pain can last for many days; acute pain comes and goes quickly. However, testicular pain is mostly mild and generalized, and it is a radiating pain. This kind of pain directly affects the daily life of male friends, especially chronic pain, which makes it impossible for people to concentrate on their lives. Some friends say that only the left testicle hurts, is it because of illness? In fact, it is not necessarily the case. There is no big difference between the left and right testicles. If it is unilateral testicular pain, it is more likely due to external forces.

However, male friends can rest assured that testicular pain is generally a very common phenomenon. If it is confirmed as orchitis in the hospital, it is more effective to cooperate with the doctor to take medicine. However, antibiotics are ineffective for viral orchitis, but they can prevent secondary infection. Patients with bacterial orchitis can take fluphenazine or tadalafil or intravenous penicillin. Those who are allergic to penicillin can use lactated cyclofloxacin injection intravenously; if it is not orchitis, it has a lot to do with your daily life. Resting in bed, applying local hot compresses or raising the scrotum, and strengthening physical exercise appropriately to keep the body strong are good ways to solve left testicular pain. Compared with taking medicine, active exercise is the best solution.
