What is testicular and vas deferens pain?

The vas deferens is very important for men. If there is an abnormality in the vas deferens, it needs to be actively treated. Many men usually have vas deferens pain. If the vas deferens pain is not treated in time, it will lead to azoospermia in men. Azoospermia will affect men's future fertility. However, no matter what the cause of vas deferens pain is, it needs to be taken seriously. So what is the cause of testicular vas deferens pain?

What is testicular and vas deferens pain?

Vas deferens pain is usually caused by inflammation of the vas deferens. The main cause of vas deferensitis is bacterial infection. After the bacteria infect the male reproductive system, it will not only cause vas deferensitis, but also cause seminal vesiculitis and prostatitis. The main routes of bacterial infection are lymphatic invasion, blood circulation and surgical incision infection.

1. Lymphatic infection: The upper part of the vas deferens lymphatic vessels is connected with the spermatic cord lymphatic vessels, and the lower part is anastomosed with the seminal vesicle lymphatic vessels. Inflammation of adjacent organs often invades the vas deferens through the lymphatic vessels and causes vas deferensitis.

2. Hematogenous infection: The vas deferens artery originates from the internal iliac artery and divides into ascending and descending branches at the base of the bladder. The ascending branch follows the vas deferens through the inguinal duct to the testis and anastomoses with the testicular artery. The descending branch goes to the vas deferens pot and seminal vesicle. Bacteria can reach various sections of the vas deferens along the artery.

3. Surgical incision infection: due to lax disinfection before and after male sterilization surgery, or bacterial infection induced by surgery, it directly causes vas deferens and thus affects the related reproductive organs.

Men often find pain in their vas deferens during intercourse and ejaculation. If this happens, male friends need to pay attention to it and go to the hospital for examination in time to see if they have vas deferensitis and receive treatment based on the examination results.

Vas pain may be caused by:

1. Acute vas deferens: The scrotum on the affected side is swollen and painful, the skin is red and swollen, and the pain radiates to the abdomen and the thigh root on the same side, often causing the patient to bend over and hold his abdomen. There is local tenderness in the scrotum, and the vas deferens is painful and tender. In severe cases, there may be fever, and purulent lesions will form around the vas deferens.

2. Chronic vas deferens: The scrotum on the affected side is swollen, painful or red and swollen, and the pain radiates to the abdomen and thigh root. Its clinical symptoms are milder than those of acute vas deferens, with a slow onset and a history of recurrent attacks. It is often accompanied by testicular and epididymitis. Physical examination shows that the scrotal section of the vas deferens is thickened and hardened. In severe cases, the vas deferens is painful, the vas deferens is adhered to the surrounding area, the levator testis is tense, and the scrotum and testicles are retracted. Vas deferens nodules that occur after vas deferens damage or vasectomy develop from the nodules to both ends, the vas deferens is thickened or adhered, the nodules can be painful nodules or asymptomatic nodules, and there may also be symptoms of vas deferens pain.

Regarding pain in the vas deferens during ejaculation, we also call it ejaculation pain. During the ejaculation process, the muscles of the vas deferens, seminal vesicles and prostate gland need to contract to ejaculate semen. If any of these organs become diseased, especially infected, such as prostatitis, urethritis, orchitis and other male organic diseases; followed by stones, tumors, phimosis, pain in the vas deferens during ejaculation will occur.
