1. Development of reproductive organs

The male reproductive organs include external genitalia and internal genitalia. The external genitalia mainly include the penis and scrotum; the internal genitalia mainly include the testicles, epididymis, seminal vesicles, and prostate. The penis is the male sexual organ, and the front end of the penis is the glans.

At about the age of twelve, the male testicles and scrotum begin to enlarge, the scrotum turns red, and the skin texture changes. At the age of twelve to thirteen, the penis becomes longer, but the circumference increases at a slower rate. The testicles and scrotum continue to grow, pubic hair appears, and the prostate begins to become active. At the age of fourteen to fifteen, the scrotum and penis begin to continue to enlarge, the glans of the penis fully develops, the scrotum becomes darker in color, the testicles mature, and nocturnal emissions occur.

2. Development of male secondary sexual characteristics

The differences in appearance and body shape are called secondary sex characteristics, also known as secondary sex characteristics. The development of secondary sex characteristics is mainly manifested in the changes that occur on the body surface, with the most prominent change being the hair. At around 11-12 years old, short and fine pubic hair grows on the vulva; at the same time, around 12 years old, the Adam's apple on the neck begins to protrude, and the voice becomes louder and deeper. This period is called the voice change period. After 1-2 years, at the age of 13 or 14, armpit hair begins to grow; a beard also begins to grow on the face; the hairline on the forehead gradually moves back, forming a special male hairstyle.
