Spermia is a relatively normal physiological phenomenon in men, and it is also a problem that many men have experienced, especially in middle-aged and adolescent men, where the probability of occurrence is particularly high. Of course, many people also have the problem of urethral pain after spermatorrhea. In this case, it is necessary to consider whether it is caused by diseases such as urethral stones, prostatitis or urinary tract infection. Below, we will introduce these three diseases in detail. 1. Urinary tract stones Urethral stones can also be divided into primary and secondary types. Primary urethral stones are rare. Clinically, stones that occur in the urethra mostly come from the urinary system above it, especially the bladder, and can also occur in the urethral diverticulum. In male patients, stones are mainly embedded in the urethra, fossa navicularis, or external urethral orifice of the prostate. It is common in children aged 1 to 10 years old, 90% of whom are male. Clinical manifestations include very thin urine stream, urine retention, and urethral pain. 2. Prostatitis prostatitis It refers to a prostate disease caused by a variety of complex reasons, with urethral irritation symptoms and chronic pelvic pain as the main clinical manifestations. Prostatitis is a common disease in urology, and ranks first among male patients under 50 years old in urology. Although the incidence of prostatitis is very high, its cause is still not very clear, especially non-bacterial prostatitis, so its treatment focuses on improving symptoms. In 1995, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the United States developed a new classification method for prostatitis, Type I: equivalent to acute bacterial prostatitis in the traditional classification method, Type II: equivalent to chronic bacterial prostatitis in the traditional classification method, Type III: chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome, Type IV: asymptomatic prostatitis. Among them, non-bacterial prostatitis is far more common than bacterial prostatitis. 3. Urinary tract infection Urinary tract infection, also known as urinary system infection, is an inflammatory response of the urothelium to bacterial invasion, usually accompanied by bacteriuria and purulent urine. Urinary tract infection is divided into upper urinary tract infection and lower urinary tract infection according to the site of infection; it can be divided into isolated or sporadic infection and recurrent infection according to the relationship between the two infections, the latter of which can be divided into reinfection and bacterial persistence, which is also called recurrence; according to the state of the urinary tract at the time of infection, it can be divided into simple urinary tract infection, complicated urinary tract infection and urethritis. Urinary tract infection is more common in women, especially in women with active sexual life and postmenopausal women. |
