White discharge from the penis

Patients are also more enthusiastic about scrubbing, and the condition does not heal for a long time.

In fact, as long as you stop scrubbing and wait for the white epithelium to age and return to the normal glans mucosa, this "disease" will heal itself. You only need to rinse the vulva with clean water on weekdays. You don't need to wash it frequently, and you don't need to scrub it with various cleaning agents or medicines, otherwise it will do more harm than good.

Experts remind that if this happens, you should be careful of candidal balanitis. The glans is a common site for candidal infection, especially in those with prepuce hyperplasia. The local area is red, swollen and itchy, with "white residue". The patient and his family may also suffer from other candidal infections.

Common symptoms include mild redness, dryness and smoothness of the foreskin and glans penis, and white cheese-like patches on the inner foreskin and the coronal sulcus of the glans penis. When the scrotum is affected, a scaly erythematous rash can be seen on the contact surface with the penis, with obvious itching. When the urethra is affected, frequent urination and urgency may occur.

A small number of patients may present with acute edematous balanitis, with obvious edema and itching of the foreskin, small ulcers, and sometimes diabetes. A very small number of men may experience itching and burning sensations on the penis, and flushing of the foreskin and glans within a few hours after having sex with women with candidal vaginitis. This symptom may be caused by the patient's high allergy to Candida albicans.
