Symptoms of Pseudocondyloma in Men

Symptoms of Pseudocondyloma in Men

Speaking of eczema acuta, I believe everyone is familiar with it. It is a common skin infection in the human body. Many people think that eczema acuta only occurs in the reproductive parts of the human body. In fact, it is also possible to suffer from eczema acuta in other areas, such as the mouth and back. Pseudo-eczema acuta is very different from common eczema acuta, and is often caused by friction. So what are the symptoms of pseudo-eczema acuta in men?

1. Clinical symptoms

Male pseudocondyloma acuminatum is common in the frenulum of the prepuce, the coronal sulcus, the foreskin, the urethra, the penis, the anus and the scrotum. At the beginning of the disease, it is a light red or dirty red millet-sized growth, which is soft in nature and slightly pointed at the top, and gradually grows or increases in number. It can develop into a papillary or cystic shape, with a slightly wide base or bands, and granules on the surface. It often enlarges in the anus, resembling cauliflower, with a moist surface or bleeding, and pus often accumulates between the granules, emitting a foul odor, and can be secondary infected after scratching. Genital warts located in low-humidity and dry areas often have small lesions and appear as flat warts. Warts located in hot and humid areas often appear filamentous or papilloma-like, and easily merge into large masses. Patients with severe liver disease may have larger warts. Clinical infection refers to lesions that cannot be identified by the naked eye, but 3%-5% acetic acid solution applied topically or wet compressed for 5-10 minutes can cause the HPV-infected area to turn white, the so-called "acetic acid whitening phenomenon".

2. Disease Characteristics

The main symptom of male pseudocondyloma is small red papules, which are between 1 mm and 2 mm in size. These papules are in groups and will not merge together. The surface of the papules is very smooth, shaped like fish roe and hair, and feels like grains.

3. Causes

Pseudocondylomata often has no obvious symptoms when it occurs, and it only causes mild itching. Many people often confuse it with condylomata, so it is called "pseudocondylomata". It is mainly related to the hyperplasia of the gonads caused by long-term stimulation or friction.

4. Treatment

Pseudo-warts have no impact on health, and the rash is self-limiting, so generally no treatment is required. If necessary, medication can be used for treatment. Patients should not smoke or drink, and should also pay attention to personal hygiene to avoid recurrence.
